| Text | Berton G. Catron, 68, of Seligman, Mo., died Monday, May 31, 1993 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers.
He was born Nov. 1, 1924, at Beaver, Ark. to Albert Catron and Cordelia (Weston) Catron. Catron was an airplane mechanic for American Airlines for 28 years, He retired in 1983, and moved to the Seligman area from Tulsa in 1985. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a member of the Seligman Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers. Survivors are his wife; one daughter; three brothers; one sister; and two granddaughters. Funeral is set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Seligman Church of Christ. Burial will be in Seligman Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home in Cassville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association, in care of the funeral home. |
