| Text | Delphine Fenton Carr, 87, of Republic, died Wed., Dec. 20, 2006, in Maranatha Village, Springfield. She was born to Rafe and Jane Allmon Mullen on Aug. 31, 1919, in Barry Co., Mo. She retired from the Missouri Chest Hospital as a Nursing Assistant III. Survivors include two sons of Republic and Birmingham, Ala.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Fenton, on July 28, 1983, and then Morris Carr on Dec. 31, 1997; and brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 22, at 3 p.m. in the Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Maple Park cemetery, Aurora. Visitation will be Friday from 2 p.m. until service time.
