Text | Mrs. Hannah Carney, 78 years old wife of Henry Carney of the Flat Creek Community passed away at her home there Monday morning after an illness which began Saturday of last week. Mrs. Carney was the daughter of John and Nancy Clark and was born and raised in Stone County. However she made here home since her marriage to Mr. Carney on the farm where she died. Mrs. Carney is survived by her husband and seven children, who are: Cal Carney, Flat Creek; Mrs. Susan Fishback, Kansas City,; Mrs. Clara Muse, Pitcher Okla., W.A. Carney, Cassville; Mrs. Willard Seitz, George and Israel Carney all of the home community. Funeral and burial services were held at the Flat Creek church Tuesday afternoon and burial made in the Carney cemetery at that place.
