| Text | Katie Mable Carlson, 79, of Monett, died at 11:30 p.m. July 29, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
Mrs. Carlson was born December 7, 1927, in Bedford, Indiana, the daughter of William and Lela Yaney. She was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Monett. Survivors include four sons of Monett and of Pierce City; three daughters, of Waterman, Illinois, of Zephyrhills, Florida, and of the State of Indiana; one brother, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a special friend, Leo Eggert of Monett. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 3, at Monett IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 2, at the funeral home. |
