| Text | Dessie Grace Carlin, 98, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, died April 20.
Mrs. Carlin was born August 3, 1901, in Purdy, the daughter of Albert J. and Joanna Cox Russell. She was a member of the Forest Park Baptist Church in Joplin. She married Cecil W. Carlin, and he preceded her in death May 23, 1984. Survivors include one son, of Hatttiesburg, Mississippi; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, April 25, at Simpson Chapel in Webb City with Dr. Don Laughlin officiating. Burial will be in New Site Cemetery near Monett under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home of Webb City. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today, April 24, at the funeral home. |
