Text | Mrs. Nora Callaway, wife of George Callaway, of Carthage, died Sunday after several months illness, at the family's home in Carthage. Death was caused by typhoid fever, followed by lung trouble. Besides a husband, she is survived by eight children, the youngest being only six months old. Some years ago the family resided in this city where the deceased enjoyed the respect of many friends. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and lived a devoted Christian life. The funeral service was conducted Tuesday at the residence of her father in Aurora. The family has the heartfelt sympathy of the people of Cassville in this their deep bereavement.
