| Text | Raymond L. Cahill, age 78, of Shell Knob, died August 7 at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield. He was born September 19, 1921, in Chicago, Illinois, was a son of James R. and Nina M. (Gaines) Cahill. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a retired truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He moved to Shell Knob in 1967 where he owned Holiday Acres for a few years. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Shell Knob and the VFW. He married Helen M. Hull on September 19, 1942. He was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth. Services will be 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, August 11, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Shell Knob with Father David Miller officiating under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Shell Knob. The body will be cremated following services. |
