| Text | Doris Ray Butler, 68, of Cassville, died September 26 at Cox Monett Hospital in Monett. Mrs. Butler was born March 20, 1932, in Eagle Rock, the daughter of Efton and Bessie (Ray) Edwards. She was a lifelong area resident and a member of Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Cassville. She married Claud Butler on June 21, 1951, and he preceded her in death July 13, 1990. Survivors include four sons, all of Cassville, and of Purdy; two daughters, of Cape Fair and of Edmond, Oklahoma; three brothers, of Mt. Vernon, of Cassville, and of Pioneer; five sisters, both of Cassville, of Butterfield, of Purdy, and of Mt. Vernon; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by one half brother and one half sister. Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, September 30, at Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Cassville with Rev. Ken Mathis and Rev. Chad Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Clio Cemetery at Jenkins under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. |
