| Headline | Man Drops Dead As He Goes To Bed Old Time Eagle Rock Citizen Dies Suddenly At His Home Monday Night |
| Text | Dean Burress of near Eagle Rock dropped dead at his home last Monday night as he was preparing himself for bed. He was feeling about as usual according to reports and was said to have been stricken as he had started walking from a chair in which he had been sitting to his bed.
Death was due to hear failure. He is an old timer of that section and had engaged in farming. He was said to have been about 65 years old and leave some relatives to mourn his passing. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at that place. Research Note: Death Cert. #5392 Clay D.
