| Text | J. M. Burns, a well known citizen of King Prairie, died Tuesday of last week. The deceased had lived in the country for a number of years. He always took an active interest in county affairs and was a useful citizen. Until late years he engaged in the teaching profession in which he worked for a number of years. The funeral services were held Thursday and his body was interred in the Verona cemetery.
