Text | Lola Grace Burdolski, 78, of Edwardsville, KS, formerly of Fairview, MO, passed away Thursday, August 19th, at Golden Living Center - Parkway Nursing Home in Edwardsville, KS. Visitation with Wake Services to follow will be from 6 to 7:30 pm, Monday evening, August 23, 2010 at the Alden - Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Pulaskifield, MO with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Golden Living Center Parkway Resident Trust Fund. Lola was born June 1, 1932 in Edwardsville, KS and was a longtime Kansas City, KS area resident and had lived in Fairview, MO since her retirement. She had previously worked for several area nursing homes as a C.M.A. and most recently worked for The Manor of KC for over 17 years retiring in 1993. She was a previous member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Kansas City, KS and St Canera's Catholic Church in Neosho, MO and presently a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Pulaskifield, MO. Lola was preceded in death by a granddaughter Lisa Burdolski in 2009, her parents and 6 siblings. And is survived by her husband of 55 years Edward B. Burdolski of the home. 7 Children Mike and Debbie Burdolski of Cape Corral, FL; Robert and Diana Burdolski of Littleton, CO; Sharon and Jim Easterday of Kansas City, KS; Linda Murphy of Portis, KS; Tom and Glenda Burdolski of Edwardsville, KS; Dennis and Becky Burdolski of Bismark, ND; and Dan and Megan Burdolski of Kansas City, MO. 14 Grandchildren Jenny, Shawn, Heidi, Brice, Luke and Jen, Brian, Lindsey, Allison, Adam, Zachary, Beth, Hope, Emily and Nicholas. 2 Great Grandchildren Leah and Addison. One sister Fran Lack of Harrisonville, MO as well as many neices, nephews and a host of other family and friends. |
