| Text | Clifton Lee Buck, Sr., 84, of West Plains, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, in West Vue Nursing Home in West Plains. Mr. Buck was born June 5, 1919, in Springfield, the son of the late Edward and Mary Belle (Smallwood) Buck. On Dec. 25, 1979, in Exeter, he was united in marriage to Donita Wilhelm. Clifton graduated from Wheaton High School. He was a veteran, serving with the United States Navy. He was a vice president for TG&Y Department Store for 40 years. He was a former Mason and of the Southern Baptist faith. Survivors include: one son, one daughter, four brothers and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by one sister, Ella Mae Sampson and one brother, E. L. Buck. Graveside services were held Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, under direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Rev. Tom Casady officiated. |
