Abstract: Bertha B. Buchanan, age 92, of Cassville, died December 2 at Red Rose Inn in Cassville. Mrs. Buchanan was born December 25, 1907, in Barry County, and was a daughter of Lawrence and Donna (Box) Nickle. She lived most of her life in the Purdy area and received her education in Butterfield. She was a member of Log Church in Butterfield. She married Elva Buchanan on March 13, 1926, in Cassville, and he preceded her in death in 1981. She was preceded in death by one son, Darrell Buchanan, on January 12, 1991; eight brothers and one sister. Services were 10 a.m. today, December 4, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Brother Doyle Russell and Rev. Jerry Nickle officiating. Burial was in Log Church Memorial Gardens in Butterfield under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville |
