| Text | Johnnie Bryant, 91, of Cassville, died September 15 at Barry County Care Center in Cassville. Mrs. Bryant was born September 23, 1908, in Purdy, the daughter of John and Maggie Reno England. She was a 1925 graduate of Cassville High School and owned and operated Star City General Store for a few years with her husband. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cassville. She married William Bryant on April 20, 1929, and he preceded her in death July 10, 1981. Survivors include one sister, Nellie Stever of Cassville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Billy Bryant, on May 2, 1945; two brothers, Bill England and Steve England; and one sister, Gladys Salyer. Services will be 7 p.m. today, September 18, at Williamson Chapel in Cassville with Rev. Bob Neeley and Rev. John Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Sparks Cemetery in Butterfield under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. |
