Text | Obit #1 - James A. Bruton, 48, of Monett, died yesterday, April 16, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. Mr. Bruton was born May 28, 1958, in Stella, the son of Alfred and Hazel Hilker Bruton. He worked at Monett Sheltered Workshop for 20 years. Survivors include one brother, of Wheaton; and six sisters. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 19, at Buchanan Chapel in Monett with Rev. Chris Carver officiating. Burial will be in Muncie Chapel Cemetery in Wheaton under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Memorials may be made to the workshop. Obit#2 - Services for James Alfred Bruton, 48, of Monett, who died April 16, were held at 10 a.m. yesterday, April 19, at Buchanan Chapel in Monett with Rev. Chris Carver and Rev. Noel George officiating. Music was provided by soloist Marla Schmitt who sang Christians Never Say Goodbye, I Can Only Imagine, and When I Get To Heaven. Eulogy was given by Bruce Stewart. Casketbearers were Bruce Stewart, Rodney Batson, David Smith, Russ Kroll, Richard Granger, and Bill Anderson. Burial was in Muncie Chapel Cemetery in Wheaton under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. |
