| Text | Naomi Brown, 89, Jay, died at 2 a.m. Oct. 20, 1997, at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Brown was born June 21, 1908, at Purdy, Mo. She was a homemaker and a member of Whitewater Baptist Church, Jay. She married Clarence Orville Brown in March 1925 at Pineville, Mo. He died in March 1984. Survivors include four sons, two daughters, a brother and several grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Jay, with the Rev. Martin Baird officiating. Burial will be in Poulson Cemetery, Southwest City, Mo. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are under the direction of Hinderliter-Woodward Funeral Service, Jay. |
