| Text | Kathleen Marie Browning, 82, of Cassville, died December 13 at Red Rose Inn in Cassville. Mrs. Browning was born June 20, 1921, in Barry County, the daughter of Delbert and Cora (Cargile) Williams. She was a graduate of Washburn High School. She was a cook for Southwest of Washburn school for several years and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She married Homer Browning on February 7, 1940, in Benton County, Arkansas, and he preceded her in death December 22, 1994. Survivors include one son, one daughter, nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Nub and Bus; and one daughter, Patsy. Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, December 16, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Rev. Bob Scott officiating. Burial will be in Washburn Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, December 15, at the funeral home. |
