| Text | William Eugene Brown, age 81, of Monett, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, AR. He was born Oct. 8, 1924, in Monett to the late Frank and Mary Smith Brown. He married Faye Lou Carney and she preceded him in death on Dec. 18, 1987. Survivors include: one son, of Salt Lake City, Utah; two daughters, of Owassa, Okla., and of Burleson, Texas, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, two brothers and one sister. He was a machine operator at the Monett Area Workshop. Funeral services were Monday, at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. |
