| Text | Nora Belle Brown, 98, of Cassville, died May 19 at Red Rose Inn in Cassville.
Mrs. Brown was born January 29, 1901, in Boone County, Kentucky, the daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth Hurt Dooley. She received her education in Oklahoma, moved to Purdy in 1981, and moved to Cassville in 1987. She married Roy Miller Brown on May 28, 1923, in Drumright, Oklahoma, and he preceded her in death in July of 1962. Survivors include one daughter, Hazel Hammond of Cassville; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, May 22, at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter with Rev. Bryan Shaw officiating under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. |
