| Headline | Mrs. Martha Brown Dies |
| Text | Mrs. Martha Brown aged 86 years, died at the home of her nephew, C. R. Starkey, three miles east of Cassville on Jan. 22, after an illness of seven days. She was twice married, the first time in 1866 to Darius Kesterson and to them was born one son. Mr. Kesterson passed away in 1886; the son also has since died. Some years later she was married to Wes Brown, who a few years ago passed away. For the past four years she has made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Starkey, who cared for her. Funeral services were conducted at the Starkey home on Thursday Jan. 24, Conducted by Rev. J.T. Brattin, and interment made in Horner cemetery under the direction of the Horine Funeral Service. |
