| Text | Johnnie W. Brock, 76, of Cassville, died at 6:03 p.m. April 13 at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin following a long illness. Mr. Brock was born June 28, 1922, in Cassville the son of Albert Washington and Lulu (Jimerson) Brock. He was a lifelong area resident, delivered milk for Jacque's Dairy, managed the Railway Ice Company for several years, and was a custodian for the Cassville School District before retiring. He attended Victory Baptist Church in Cassville.
He married Nancy Irene Edmonson on March 21, 1970, in Cassville, and she preceded him in death January 7, 1998. Survivors include one step-son, of Goshen, Arkansas; three step-daughters, one sister, of Roseburg, Oregon; two brothers, of Cassville and of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 13 step-grandchildren and 26 step-great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by four brothers, Wayne Brock, Austin Brock, Eldon Brock and a infant; and two sisters, Fredalleene Harrell and Elaine Duncan. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. tomorrow, April 17, at Horner Cemetery in Cassville under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 16, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association. |
