| Text | Montella Yvonne Brattin, 79, of Pacoima, California, formerly of Ridgley, died November 21 at Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, California. Mrs. Brattin was born June 20, 1920, in Barry County, the daughter of Herman and Katie (Birkes) Garrison. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She married Loren Brattin on December 26, 1939, in Exeter, and he preceded her in death March 18, 1989. Survivors include one son, of Pacoima, California; two daughters, of Granada Hills, California, and of Northridge, California; two brothers, of Anderson and of Buhl, Idaho; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Derrell Garrison; one sister, Louise Garrison; and one grandchild, Robin Ellis. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 29, at McQueen Chapel in Wheaton with Rev. Bob Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter under the direction of McQueen Funeral Home of Wheaton. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 28, at the funeral home. |
