| Text | Luria Leanne Brattin, 58, of Pierce City, formerly of Wheaton, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield. She was born Dec. 13, 1950, in Wheaton. Additional survivors include: one brother and his wife of Tulsa, Okla.; and one sister and her husband, of Pierce City. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elvin and Erma Brattin and Doris and Letha Price. She received her education in Wheaton, graduating from Wheaton High School in 1970. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Cassville. Funeral services were held Friday in Wheaton Southern Baptist Church, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Pastor Paul Wahlert conducted the services. Burial was at Dice Cemetery, Fairview. Contributions may be made to ARC of the Ozarks, Monett, in her memory.
