Obit For Geraldine (Senseney) Brattin

Text Geraldine Brattin, 79, of Exeter, died January 4 at her daughter's home in Stark City. Mrs. Brattin was born December 28, 1929, in Barry County, the daughter of Roy and Ada Noe Senseney. She retired from Fasco in Cassville in 1998. She married Durward Brattin on December 28, 1949, and he preceded her in death in 1969.

Survivors include three daughters, two sons, one sister, 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Danny and Karol Brattin; one brother and two sisters.

Services were 10:30 a.m. today, January 7, at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton with Bobby Harrison officiating. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter.
Geraldine Brattin, 79, of Exeter, passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at her daughter's home in Stark City. She was born Dec. 28, 1929, in Barry County, the daughter of Roy and Ada (Noe) Senseney. On Dec. 28, 1949, she was united in marriage to Durward Brattin, who preceded her in death in 1969. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Danny and Karol Brattin; a brother and two sisters.

Survivors include: three daughters, two sons, a sister, sixteen grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. She received her education in Wheaton. She lived a few years in Wichita, Kan., but lived most of her life in Exeter and Ridgley. She worked several years at Fasco in Cassville until her retirement in 1998.

Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter. Bobby Harrison conducted the services.
