| Text | It is with a very sad heart we chronicle the death of John Brandon who departed this life Aug 19. He was in his usual state of health. While doing his work during the morning in the hard rain; he got very wet and about noon went up stairs to change clothes. He was found there on his bed about 1:00 p.m. by his brother, dead.
Death due to heart failure. John was 39 years and 8 months old. He was highly respected by all who knew him and will be greatly missed in the singing class and other places where he was ever person. Funeral services were conducted by Bro. Riddle at the Baptist church and the body laid to rest in the cemetery nearby Friday, August 20. |
