Text | Dorothy Lou Brattin Bowsher, 85, of Cassville, died April 16 following a long illness. Mrs. Bowsher was born September 6, 1922, in Rocky Comfort, the daughter of Noah and Minnie Wells Brattin. She was a graduate of Rocky Comfort High School and moved to Cassville in 1943. She worked in the Barry County Courthouse, and retired in 2001 from Commerce Bank after 49 years of service. She was a member of Mill Street Church of Christ. She married Sam Bowsher in 1960, and he preceded her in death in 1992. Survivors include one brother, of Cassville; one niece, one nephew, and two great nephews. Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, April 19, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville with Wayne Deffenbaugh officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 18, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Fair Haven Children's Home in Strafford. |
