| Text | Donald Kent Bowman, 56, of Jenkins, died at 1:37 p.m. December 16 at his home. Mr. Bowman was born November 14, 1943, in Hannibal, the son of James Russell and Sylvia (Lindsey) Bowman. He attended Jenkins and Cassville schools and served with the U. S. Air Force. He was employed 10 years as a dotetch lithographer in Kansas City. He moved to the Jenkins area in 1975 where he was a self-employed cattle and poultry farmer. He was a member of Lithographers Union and was a Baptist. He married Faye Lassiter on December 23, 1962 in Jenkins. Additional survivors include two sons, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services were 2:30 p.m. yesterday, December 19, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Doyle Russell, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Leann Cemetery in Jenkins under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. |
