| Text | Mrs. Sarah A. Boucher was born June 26, 1850. Died with cancer of the breast and lung, after several months of suffering, at her home in Purdy, about midnight, March 29, age 49 yeas, 9 months, and 3 days.
She was married Robert W. Boucher, Aug 13, 1872, and they lived happily together twenty eight years. To this union were born seven children, six girls and one boy, all of whom survive. She was converted at the age of sixteen and soon after joined Concord congregation of the Cumberland Presbyterian church. After removing to Purdy her membership was transferred to Purdy congregation to which she lived a faithful consistent Christian life. Her funeral was preached in the C. P. Church, to a large congregation of relieves and friends from 23rd Psalm, which was her own selection. Her body was laid to rest in the Purdy Cemetery. A. K. Gurley |
