| Text | Although not entirely unexpected the announcement of the death of Mr. Wm. Boucher sends a pang of grief to many of the old residents of Lawrence County. The deceased had been very feeble for some years past and it was known that his recent illness was likely to carry him away. He was one of the elder members of a numerous and respected family who have been residents of Lawrence County. He was born in Kentucky, Dec. ?, 1813 and came to Missouri in 1840 the sons and daughters and the more distinct relatives have the sympathy of many friends throughout the county and Peirce [Pierce] City. |
