| Text | GALENA, Kan. - Gladys "Maxine" Blythe, 89, of Galena died April 20, 2009, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Mo. She was born Dec. 17, 1919, in Washburn, Mo., to Thomas and Viola McNabb Burnette. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Galena. She worked at a sawmill for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, General James Blythe, in August 1989. Survivors include a brother of Washburn, Mo.; a sister of Galena. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Antioch Cemetery at Cassville, Mo. Arrangements are by Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. |
