| Text | Mrs. Delia Blakeslee who for many years resided on Stones Prairie north of Purdy died Thursday September 28, at the home of the daughter, Mrs. M. V. Alleback in Springfield. Mrs. Blakeslee was 83 years of age and had been an invalid for about two years. She is survived by three sons and three daughters, H. J. Blakeslee of Purdy, L. J. Blakeslee of Monett, D. C. Blakeslee of Fayetteville, Ark., Mrs. William Norris of Josephine, Saskatchewan, Canada, Mrs. Mary Reno and Mrs. N. V. Allebach with whom she was making her home at the time of her death. The body was shipped to Purdy where the funeral was held Saturday afternoon. |
