Text | Services for Carl Ellis Bertalotto, 68, Route 4, who died at 11:45 p.m. Monday at Freeman Hospital, Joplin, after a short illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. The Rev. Ray Plowman will officiate. Burial will be in the Rocky Comfort Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Bertalotto was born June 28, 1912, at Mountain. He was a member of the Bethlehem Methodist Church, Longview. He married the former Zelma Lorene Dickens on July 7, 1934, at Pineville. She survives. Other survivors are a son, of Carthage; a daughter, Mrs. Leda Roller, Stella; two brothers, Kimzy, Vail, Ore., and Jimmy, Rocky Comfort; two sisters, Mrs. Geneva Dickens, Exeter, and Traesa Horton, Rocky Comfort; and nine grandchildren.
