| Text | Dexter G. Bennett died at an early hour Friday, Nov. 4, at his home in Purdy at the ripe old age of 83 years, and a few days. His condition had been critical for some days and his children and all been notified and were present during the last hours. His funeral was held from the M. E. Church on Friday, conducted by Rev. Goodnight and the remains laid to rest beside his wife who proceeded him in a few years in the Purdy cemetery. |
