Text | Anna Lee (Horn) Hall Bennett, 81, of Aurora, formerly of Monett, died at 6:10 a.m. February 8 at Cox Monett Hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Bennett was born November 18, 1920, in Marionville, the daughter of William Harrison and Florence Zerua Cupp Horn. She was a retired Methodist minister, having served at Christ United Methodist Church and Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church in Monett and at Marbut, Southwest City, and Granby. She married Amos Elza Hall on November 11, 1939, in Galena, and he preceded her in death September 18, 1996. She married Leo Bennett on January 22, 2000, in Springfield, and he survives. Additional survivors include four brothers, five sisters, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Van Hall; and one half brother, Roy Horn. Services were 2 p.m. today, February 11, at Bennett-Wormington Chapel in Monett with Rev. Gregg Cleveland officiating. Burial was in Ennes Cemetery near Cassville under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. |
