| Text | Mrs. Herman Belt of Peirce [Pierce] City died Feb. 24, age 82 years. This family formerly resided in Capps Creek township, Barry County for many years and in their old days moved to Peirce [Pierce] City. She is survived by six sons and one daughter and the Leader Journal says they were with the mother in her last years.
Research Note: Anna Mary (Wagner) Belt's death certificate is filed in Lawrence Co., MO, and lists that her father was Henry Wagner, born in Germany. Her mother was born in Germany, too but her name was not given. Mike Belt signed the certificate. She was born Jan. 15, 1839 in Germany and died Feb. 24, 1920 in Lawrence County. She was married and buried in the Pierce City Cemetery. |
