| Text | Marzell Beck, 63, of Wheaton, died at 8:05 p.m. January 2 at her home following a long illness. Mrs. Beck was born October 9, 1936, in Barry County, the daughter of Lewis and Erma Pruitt Garrett. She moved to Wheaton in 1968 from Cassville. She was a homemaker and attended Solid Rock Baptist Church in Exeter. She married Herschel Beck Sr. on November 26, 1953, in Cassville, and he preceded her in death August 4, 1995. Survivors include three sons, one daughter, two brothers, 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 6, at Williamson Chapel in Cassville with Rev. Virgil Beck Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Horner Cemetery under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, January 5, at the funeral home. |
