| Text | Maurice Ivan "Poppy" Beck, 68, of Cassville died March 8, 2009, at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield, Mo. He was born Aug. 9, 1940, in Cassville to Erskin "Bud" and Thelma Chappell Beck. He was a heavy equipment operator for Flat Creek Road District and was a Baptist. Survivors include two daughters; a brother; three sisters; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial will be in Horner Cemetery at Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p. m. today at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the family. |
