| Text | M. Olene Bass, 86, of Canon City, Colorado, formerly of Cassville, died August 28 at her home. Mrs. Bass was born May 29, 1919, near Wheaton, the daughter of Wintford and Blanche Mae Flora Corn. She was a graduate of Wheaton High School. She moved to southwest of Exeter in 1968, moved to Purdy in 1977, moved to Cassville in 1984, and later moved to Springfield and then Canon City, Colorado. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Cassville. She had been a farmer. She married Lennis "Lynn" Bass on January 8, 1938, in Monett, and he preceded her in death July 20, 1986. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Corn and Paul Corn; one sister, Billie Brumback; and one grandchild. Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, September 1, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville with Rev. John Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter. |
