| Text | Annabelle Lee Bass, 78, of Monett, died at 4:55 p.m. May 28 at Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett. Mrs. Bass was born February 7, 1921, in Monett, the daughter of John and Jewel (Ellis) Reed. She was a lifelong Monett resident, a homemaker, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Monett. She married James "Gene" E. Bass on September 26, 1943, in Monett, and he preceded her in death July 30, 1996. Services were 11 a.m. today, June 1, at Buchanan Chapel in Monett with Dr. Michael Block officiating. Burial was in Monett IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association of Cancer Society. |
