Obit For Leo E. Bartkoski

Text Leo E. Bartkoski, 73, Kansas City, Kan., died July 9, 1991, at the home. He was born in Monett, Mo., and lived in this area most of his life. Mr. Bartkoski was a watchman for the Kansas City, Kan., Board of Public Utilities for 19 years; he retired in 1981. Earlier he was a warehouse worker for the Chrysler Motors parts division for 20 years. He was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Kansas City, Kan., and the Polish National Alliance.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mary A. Bartkoski of the home; two sons, Robert L. Bartkoski and Gerald J. Bartkoski, and a sister, Clara Skwarlo, all of Kansas City, Kan.; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church; burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Kan. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Skradski Chapel, where the rosary will be said at 7 p.m. The family suggests contributions to the Heartland Home Hospice of Clinicare or to the church. Pallbearers: Kenneth Bartkoski, John Sajdetich, Joe Higbee, Mike Keehn, David Skwarlo and Tom Todd.
