| Text | ARTICLE # 1 -- Dec 1, 1999 - Ruby Frances (Hayes) Barnett, 71, of Butterfield, died at 8:45 a.m. yesterday, November 30, at her home in Butterfield following a long illness. Mrs. Barnett was born February 5, 1929, the daughter of Ola C. and Rozena (Perkins) Hayes. She was a retired cook and a Methodist. She married Alfred David "Dave" Barnett in 1953 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and he preceded her in death July 17, 1993. Survivors include five sons, five daughters, three brothers, 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Louise Pryor, Lucille Hayes, and Virginia Hayes. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 4, at Bennett-Wormington Chapel in Monett with Rev. Ronnie Howerton officiating. Burial will be in Sparks Cemetery in Butterfield under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 3, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the cemetery. ARTICLE # 2 -- Dec 6, 1999 - Services for Ruby Frances Barnett, 71, of Butterfield, who died November 30, were held at 10:30 a.m. December 4 at Bennett-Wormington Chapel in Monett with Rev. Ronnie Howerton officiating. Music was provided by soloist Norman Spain who sang Amazing Grace and What A Day That Will Be. Organist was Jo Ann Thomas. Casketbearers were Ernest Hayes, Kevin Hayes, Kelly Hayes, Kenny Pryor, Robert Hayes, Bill Kettner, Mike Hayes, and Verdayne Ennis. Burial was in Sparks Cemetery in Butterfield under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. |
