| Text | William Henry Banks was born Dec. 14, 1854 and died Dec. 27, 1931 at the home of his sister in Exeter. Age 77 years and 13 days. He was united in marriage to Haney Hart in 1888 who preceded him in death in March 1928. To this union was born one son, Arthur who also preceded him Aug. 20, 1931. He was later married to Mrs. Lucy Warner. In the last days of his illness he assured relatives that he was ready to go. Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock at the Clark school house Dec 28 by Rev. Chas Vanzandt of Exeter. Burial was made in the Clark Cemetery under the direction of the Pogue Undertaking Co. |
