| Text | ARTICLE # 1 -- Seligman News: Joe Banks, quietly passed away at his home east of town, Joe was a young man. He had been in poor health for the past five years. He leaves a family, mother, father, brothers, and sisters to mourn his loss. Joe was always considered a good man and good neighbor and was liked by all who knew him.
ARTICLE # 2 -- New Salem News: Joe Banks died at his home near Seligman, Saturday, May 9th. The remains were brought here Sunday for burial. Funeral services were at 2:30 o'clock p.m. conducted by Rev. Ed Vanderpool in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. To the bereaved wife and children we extend our heartfelt sympathy. Research Notes: Joe Martin Banks, born 2 Apr 1879 Carroll Co AR, parents Thomas Banks & Sarah A Robins. Died 9 May 1914, buried 10 May 1914. |
