Text | Glenn Evan Banks, age 75, of Washburn, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, in Mercy Hospital, Rogers, Arkansas.
He was born September 10, 1938, in Washburn, Missouri, the son of Denver Green and Ellen (Fletcher) Banks. On April 6, 1974, in Seligman, Missouri, he was united in marriage to AnnaBelle Nichols, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Bill Banks of Washburn, Missouri and John Banks of Washburn, Missouri; two daughters, Patricia Farmer of Lowell, Arkansas and Vera Bise and her husband, James of Bentonville, Arkansas; two step-daughters, Michelle Paul and her husband, Robert of Washburn, Missouri and Cherie Corn and her husband, Tim of Seligman, Missouri and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents. Glenn received his education at Fine School on Trent Creek. For thirty years he was employed for MODOT doing highway maintenance, retiring in 1993. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a life-long resident of Washburn, where he enjoyed working on his farm. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Washburn Prairie Cemetery, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Reverend Jim Erwin will conduct the services |
