| Text | Faye E. Ball, 79, Cassville, died at 3:13 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 1997, at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, after a long illness. Mrs. Ball was born Dec. 15, 1917, at Eagle Rock. She attended Roaring River and Eagle Rock schools. She worked as a clerk at the MFA Exchange, Cassville, for a few years.
She and her husband later owned and operated a country store for five years at Eagle Rock. She was a member of Roaring River Baptist Church, Eagle Rock. She married Oman F. Ball on Aug. 21, 1937, at Klamath Falls, Ore. He died July 3, 1996. Survivors include two daughters, a sister, a half sister, two grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. The Rev. Paul Yarnall will officiate. Burial will be in Horner Cemetery, Cassville. |
