Text | Lela D. Baker, 91, of Derby, Kansas, formerly of Cassville, died yesterday, April 24, in Harper, Kansas. Mrs. Baker was born December 10, 1909, in Cassville, the daughter of W. F. and Josa (Box) Dilbeck. She moved to Wichita, Kansas, in 1950, and worked as a blueprint machine operator for Coleman Company for 20 years before retiring. She married Charley Baker on November 17, 1926, and he preceded her in death March 12, 1993. Survivors include one son, two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 27, at the funeral home. |
