Text | Hazel M. Baker, 78, of Exeter, died at 3 a.m. yesterday, January 10, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin. Mrs. Baker was born Mary 2, 1921, in Washburn, the daughter of John S. and Bessie M. Day Stanley. She was a homemaker, a member of Wheaton VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and attended Ridgley Assembly of God. She married Raymond Poe, and he preceded her in death. She married Emerson Lee in 1950, and he preceded her in death. She married Raymond Baker in 1991, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include one foster son, two step-sons, two foster daughters, two brothers, one sister and several grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. tomorrow, January 12, at McQueen Chapel in Wheaton. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter under the direction of McQueen Funeral Home of Wheaton. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, January 11, at the funeral home. |
