Text | Gerald G. Baker, 43, of Houston, Tex., died Tuesday in a Houston, Tex., hospital. He was born Feb. 5, 1923 at Cassville, Mo., the son of Curtis A. and Estelle Pannell Baker. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and was employed by Oil Base Inc. of Houston at the time of his death. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Survivors are the widow; one son and two daughters, all of the home and his mother, Mrs. Estelle Baker of Fayetteville. The body will lie in state at Watson Mortuary Thursday evening. Funeral and burial will be at 2 p. m. Friday at Cassville. Committed suicide by taking mercuric chloride. His wife was the informant on his death certificate. WW II Veteran. |
