| Text | Carl Mance Baker, 86, of Cassville, died December 7 at Barry County Care Center in Cassville. Mr. Baker was born April 19, 1914, in Cassville, the son of Albert and Viola Reynolds Baker. He was a farmer in the Cassville area and work at Pet Milk Company, Flat Creek Road District, and operated a bulldozer for Gene Fare of Jenkins and Farwell Construction of Eagle Rock. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Cassville. He married Hattie McLendon on August 20, 1938, and she preceded him in death December 28, 1995. Survivors include one son, two daughters, one sister, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services were 2 p.m. yesterday, December 10, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Rev. Milford Baker officiating. Burial was in Horner Cemetery in Cassville under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. |
