| Text | Mrs. Lucinda Ann Babb of Seligman died Saturday after a short illness, age 63 years, 2 months and 4 days. The deceased was born in Lawrence County, May 24, 1851. On May 6, 1872, she was married to Willis Morgan, dec'd. To this union were born five children, three of whom survive. Early in life she professed faith in Christ and united with the Baptist Church on August 13, 1870, living a consistent Christian life until death. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. M. Smith of Exeter. Her body was laid to rest in the New Salem Cemetery, northeast of Seligman. |
